5 Minute Skinny Chipotle Sauce

After sharing my chipotle sauce a few years back, I’ve received many requested for a skinnier healthier version so here it is! This chipotle sauce is even easier to make and is ready in under 5 minutes. I’ve replaced the mayo with plain yogurt and doubled the cilantro because I just can’t get enough of it!

I like to use chipotle sauce in salads, on sandwichess, as a dip, or in seafood. The possibilities are endless! This sauce will last for up to 2 weeks in the fridge, assuming you haven’t finished it all by then!

5 Minute Skinny Chipotle Sauce

THE RECIPE:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup plain yogurt sour cream or greek yogurt can also be used
  • 1 chipotle chile with 2 tsp sauce from can of chipotles in adobo sauce
  • 1/2 cup packed cilantro
  • 1 ⁄2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ⁄4 lime zest and juice


Instructions:

  1. Mix all ingredients in blender until smooth. Chill in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
